ADGP Rupak Kumar Datta has issued alert notices to all Police Commissioners and Districts Superintendents of police to keep strict vigil and maintain security measures to prevent any untoward incidents.

He also said that the officers have been asked to keep a tab on all airports, including Bangalore International Airport, railway stations and bus stands.

Meanwhile, the DGP office has alerted the coastal security force and also the SPs of coastal districts to keep strict vigil.

This is in view of an input from the Intelligence Bureau that suspected terrorists may enter the state through the sea-way.
