Sneijder’s wife holds key to 35 million pound Man U move

Match 57 - Wesley SneijderImage by giveawayboy via FlickrDutch footballer Wesley Sneijder’s TV presenter wife Yolanthe could hold the key to breaking the deadlock in his proposed 35 million pound move to Manchester United. According to the Daily Mail, the couple has already appointed an agency to work on commercial deals in

England.
Former United and Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon, now a partner at Creative Artists’ Agency, is aiding the search for new deals for the couple and a move to the UK would boost the profiles of both the player and his TV presenter wife, it said.

Sneijder had married Yolanthe in Italy last year, a week after he played in the World Cup final.

Until October 2008, Yolanthe was a recurring cast member of Dutch soap opera Onderweg Naar Morgen.

She had movie roles in Dutch productions such as Costa! and Snowfever.

In 2006, one of her movies, Turkse Chick, was nominated for a Gouden Kalf award, the highest film award in the Netherlands.

In 2006, 2007 and 2009, Yolanthe was voted the “sexiest woman of the year” by the Dutch FHM.

Currently, the 26-year-old spends much of her professional life in Los Angeles, working on television projects.
