Dell's Peju tablet leaked

Image representing iPad as depicted in CrunchBaseImage via CrunchBaseNEW DELHI: Seems Dell is readying another tablet to take on Apple's iPad and other Android OS powered tablets. According to a blog dellpejuinsder.blogspot.com, the hardware maker is set to unveil another Windows 7-based tablet.

The tablet, code named Peju, will run on Windows 7 pro and will be Windows 8 compatible. The leaked images show that the tablet may eventually be named Latitude ST.

According to online media reports, the tablet will have a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1080 Gorilla Glass anti-glare multitouch display, Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64 or 120GB solid state drive, and Windows 7 Pro, with Windows 8 compatibility.

Connectivity options in Peju tablet reportedly include two USB, mini VGA, HDMI, microSD, 3.5mm audio, and 3G SIM card slot.

It will also have integrated Wi-Fi connectivity along with Bluetooth, 3G, and 4G. The tablet is also said to sport a 1.3-megapixel front- and five-megapixel rear-facing camera. There's also an N-trig stylus.

The tablet measuring 10.8 x 6.7 x 0.63 inches is also said to include an N-trig stylus and a USB keyboard mouse. The new tablet is expected to launch sometime in October.
