Ivanka Trump gives birth to a girl

London: Celebrity businessman Donald Trump`s daughter Ivanka has become a mother for the first time as she gave birth to a girl.

The socialite and her husband, Jared Kushner, welcomed their daughter in New York City Sunday, reports a website.

"This morning (Jared) and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!" the 29-year-old posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The couple tied the knot in 2009.
